Aragon surprises everyone with its good taste. In addition to its rich landscape, its remote and charming villages and monuments, we invite you to discover its gastronomic culture, which ranges from the richest traditional cuisine to the most innovative creations of its chefs.
There is no better way to get to know it than to try it, right?
Our land is a territory to be discovered by foot. Get to know the landscape, the flora and fauna, meet the people. We benefit from an extensive network of well signposted and conditioned trails that will take us through lakes, waterfalls, canyons, forests, mountains...
Hiking is an ideal activity to do with the family, and it is necessary to transmit such important values as respect for nature and companionship to the youngest members of the family.
Put on your boots, we're going out for a hike!
If you like hiking, the mountains and enjoying unique landscapes, keep reading!
This is the perfect place for medium and high mountain routes, gorges and footbridges suspended on the rock, Pyrenean lakes, waterfalls... These are more demanding trails, along uneven terrain, where the slopes and physical effort can be considerable.
The options are endless, but do not be overwhelmed, here goes our recommendation!
Our neighbouring region, Somontano, is a land of renowned wines and excellent gastronomical products: oils, cheeses, garden products such as the famous pink tomato (Tomate Rosa), borage, asparagus, etc. Somontano is part of the Spanish Wine Route and offers a wide range of suggestions for every taste.
We are in a land full of history and culture, in which its inhabitants have left a mark over time that we can enjoy today: Roman ruins, Muslim castles, medieval fortifications and towns, hermitages, churches and cathedrals, towns that were abandoned and that today are being recovered... We propose you different plans to discover it. Let's go!
When it's hot, the important thing is to have water nearby. Luckily, we have different options: lakes, rivers, ponds and even saline pools! We can prepare sandwiches and spend the day in the river, take a refreshing swim after visiting a medieval town or enjoy a well-deserved rest after a route... Any option is good!
The Pyrenees is an exceptional territory for observing birds and nature in general: flora, fauna, geology...
From the 3,000 meter high peaks to the mountain ranges that connect with the plain we can find birds of great interest. A great diversity of forest types and the abundance of rocks and cliffs make species that are scarce or even absent in the rest of Europe common.
Very close to the campsite are some of the best-known protected natural spaces in the Pyrenees, refuges for these emblematic species: bearded vultures, Egyptian vultures, wallcreepers, capercaillies, Bonelli's eagles...
Whether you are an expert ornithologist or if you have just been bitten by the bug, there are many options to enjoy birds and nature observation.
Without leaving the campsite, children and adults will be able to enjoy our astronomy workshop, however, just by looking up you will be able to see that during the night this land is filled with light, we add to the numerous natural treasures of Aragon, the Milky Way and all the constellations. We will tell you a little more about these special enclaves.
